The 86-year-old man who went missing Wednesday afternoon has been located Wednesday evening in Norwalk and is safe, New Canaan Police report.

An alert has been issued by the New Canaan Police Department following the disappearance of an 86-year-old man who went missing from an adult day care program.
Graham Bryan, who was at Waveny Care Center, made comments to the staff stating that he knows his way home, New Canaan Police said.
The care center had placed a Wander Guard (alarm system) on Graham which triggers when he leaves the premise. It is unknown how he got away, but he never got on the bus to go home at approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
The police department was notified at approximately 5:49 p.m.
It should be noted that an officer observed an individual matching the description on White Oak Shade Road near the Merritt Parkway overpass walking southbound towards Norwalk at approximately 5 p.m., according to police.
Bryan, who has Alzheimer's disease, is 5-foot-11, 179 pounds with gray hair, red jacket, and brown pants. He does not have a cell phone or vehicle.
